With the addition of technology in schools, these days teacher’s classroom libraries are changing. Teachers who don’t have many physical books at their disposal have so many free options at their fingertips through digital books and online reading. I often get questions from French teachers about where to find free digital books and online reading for FSL (French Immersion, Extended, and Core French programs). I’ve been curating resources for some time and have created this list to make it easy for teachers to find quality internet-accessible French reading resources. Please see my list of online books and stories below, I will continue adding to it as I find great resources. The list is in no particular order, however, the more comprehensive ones with teacher management options can be found at the very bottom.
